Did you know?
A study conducted by the Quebec Institute of Public Health showed that 98.7% of the children they tested had lawn care pesticides in their urine.
Which brings up the obvious question:
What then, is the acceptable level of pesticides in your child’s body?

Core Aeration
This service can be done very early spring. This removes plugs of soil from the ground and the small hole that it creates in the lawn will be filled in by the surrounding soil. This creates small fractures in the soil around the hole which allows the lawn’s roots to grow deep into the soil using these fractures. This is key to developing a strong lawn that will aid your lawn in surviving the summer heat.
Lime
This service can be done right now. If your lawn has a low pH you can see it by looking closely at the grass and seeing bare soil areas around a clump of grass. If you recall the lawn being bumpy last summer it is because the grass clump is the high point and the bare soil next to it is lower than the clump causing this bumpy surface. This bare area also leaves open soil where weeds tend to grow. Lime corrects the soil pH so the lawn has the ability to grow into these bare areas and thicken. If your lawn is too bare, our tech’s will inform you that over seeding is required.
